It is always exciting to begin a new school year. The postcards announcing the Welcome Back dinner just went out this week; please mark your calendar and plan to attend. The annual dinner, which is a fun opportunity to connect or reconnect with SRCSA families and teachers while enjoying a free dinner sponsored by SACO, will be held on Tuesday, August 13 from 4:00 to 6:00 PM at the school. Class lists are posted and dinner is served from 4:30 to 5:30 PM. Please join us!!
Can you help serve dinner at this year’s event? We are looking for parents and family members, plus 6th, 7th and 8th grade students, to help serve food during the event. There are two shifts (4:30 – 5:00 & 5:00 – 5:30) and if you can help, please email SACO’s volunteer coordinators at srcsavolunteer@nullgmail.com and provide the names of the volunteers and which shift. Volunteering at the Welcome Back Dinner counts toward each family’s 20-hour annual volunteer hour commitment and is a fun way to start off the year.
