Sincere appreciation to our campus community for a fun community event. A special thanks goes out to 7th and 8th grade families who were the main staff for the dinner. For the first time, 7th and 8th graders helped serve alongside family members and they did a great job. Also, the ad hoc cleaning crew (SACO Board members and various members of our campus community) did a great job.
There will be no visual reminders of the dinner when a group of volunteers embarks on the first Campus Beautification event tomorrow morning (Saturday, August 18) at 9:00 a.m. We will be clearing fallen apples from the play field, clearing the garden boxes and trimming the lambs ear in the kindergarten area, removing weeds in front of the office, and also making a plan for future work together to continue to make our campus look more beautiful. Please bring gloves if you can!
I am hoping to find a volunteer or two to lead future Campus Beautification events. If you’re interested, please be at the August or September event and let me know.
Thanks a lot for a wonderful start to the 2012-2013 school year!
Erin
